The second element of our Wool Innovators project is to make a sustainable fruit bag to save the environment.
We were very lucky to have such talented ladies join us, including Lucy Kearney, Teresa Caufield, Helena Grant, Annmarie Gribben, Violet Brady and Susie Hynes to demonstrate Knitting and crochet and then begin making our sustainable fruit bags.
We learnt the skip knot, chain and double crochet.
The children really enjoyed the activity and we will be continuing this next week.
