Wee Critters Workshop (Article 13)

Article 13: You have the right to find things out and say what you think.

All boys and girls enjoyed a visit from ‘Wee Critters Workshop’ with Allan in our Outdoor Classroom.

Allan taught the children about a range of insects and animals, from cockroaches, snakes, mice, owls, skunks and toads. We learned about how their get their energy, how they move, how they protect themselves from prey and what family of animals they belong to such as mammals, amphibians or reptiles.

What a fabulous lesson on these protected species in our outdoor area. We learned how important it is to protect our planet to prevent their wonderful creatures from becoming extinct.
