During May, we take time in school to honour Mary, our beloved Mother. The children have been learning about her importance in our faith and reflecting on her loving example. They have also created their own May altar in the classroom, helping to make this a special and meaningful space for prayer and reflection.
The children particularly enjoyed exploring the Travelling Rosary Bag, which included a candle, rosary beads, prayers, and information about the rosary and its mysteries. They also looked at pictures of Mary, helping them to connect more deeply with her story.
It has been a calm and meaningful experience, encouraging prayer and reflection during this special month.
