On Monday we had Collette from The Larder in Newry, who is a volunteer visit our school. Collete talked to the children about what she does as a volunteer and how their charity helps support people who are in need or who may be struggling to feed their families or heat their homes.
Collette was delighted when she saw the donations made by our school for The Larder. She thanked the children for their generosity and wanted to extend her thanks to parents and grandparents. Thanks also goes to our school council who helped load the van with all the donations.
