Pupils from P.1/2 (Room 2) went on their Sponsored walk

Today P1&2 went on their sponsored walk.

They walked from the school to the chapel, around the graveyard and then down to the football club. There were some very hungry children walking back for lunch and dinner 😉.

At the club the children were using their balancing skills walking on the wall (no falls - always someone close), they discovered climbing ivy on the trees, found blackberries and listened to the water flowing in the River Bann.

Before they walked back up to the school they called to the club shop but Goretta was not there! They even asked Brendan Murray for a lift up to the chapel car park but he had no room in his milk lorry!

The children enjoyed their walk and had fun looking, learning, exercising and listening to our local environment.
