Room 2 used phonics games and picture boards to consolidate their phonics learning.
Primary one were blending and matching to pictures, finding the middle vowel and finding the last letter sound.
Primary two had picture scenes where they had to work out what word they had to spell using the picture and the number of sounds. This was a tricky one even for the adults but thankfully they had the answers to support the children.
