The children had the opportunity to listen to Danny Toner (Down Hurler) and Ronan Sheehan’s (Down Hurling manager) success story on winning the National League title a few weeks ago. They brought the cup in to allow the children see it. They told the children what they have to do to become a county hurler!
We also had our Spelling Bee finals with three winners from both P1 and P2. Well done to everyone who took part in this event and spent extra time learning spellings at home.
