Our Primary seven pupils have been trained so they can become a Playground buddy. The training was delivered through the PATHS programme by Christine from Barnardo's. Our school purchased the programme last year. The PATHS programme is a universal, evidence based, social and emotional learning skills programme for primary one to primary seven, which empowers all children to develop the fundamental social and emotional learning skills to will enable them to make positive choices throughout life. These choices start in the playground. Primary seven will help to teach the children how to play, interact with each other in a respectful and fun way. There are lots of playground games to play. Primary six will also get this training next month. Our school values will be a the centre of everything we do. We are RICH - Respectful, Inclusive, Caring and Hardworking.
