Today Primary 5 travelled to Armagh to Navan Fort to learn more about our World Around Us Topic "The Vikings". We had an amazing day and learned lots of new information about "The Vikings". During this trip,we got to meet with a Viking who taught us all about his way of life,showed us his weapons and fascinating Viking artefacts. We even had a chance to write our names using the Viking Alphabet, and tried writing with a quill and ink. It was a fantastic experience and we all really enjoyed our day!
