Pope LEOXIV calls Prayer for Peace

Today, Saturday, 11th April at 5pm, Pope Leo XIV will lead a Rosary and Vigil for Peace in St Peter’s Basilica, Rome inviting all to unite in prayer for our world.

 

Announced during his Easter Urbi et Orbi message and renewed this week, the Holy Father is calling the whole Church to pray for peace amid ongoing global conflicts.

Let us Pray:

 

Heavenly Father, God of mercy and peace, look with compassion upon all lands torn by war. Comfort the wounded, protect the innocent, and welcome those who have died into Your mercy. Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, soften hearts hardened by hatred and guide leaders toward justice, dialogue, and reconciliation. 

 

Holy Spirit, bring wisdom where there is confusion and love where there is fear. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, grant that violence may cease and that Your peace may reign in every heart. Amen.
