Our children have been developing their understanding of place value and how numbers are made up. Through practical, hands-on activities, they have been learning to build numbers using tens and units.
The children enjoyed using concrete materials to represent different numbers, helping them to see how each number is constructed. By grouping objects into tens and combining them with individual units, they were able to confidently create and explore a variety of numbers.
These activities have supported the children in deepening their understanding of number structure in a fun and engaging way. We are very proud of the excellent effort and enthusiasm shown by everyone!
