In Ireland we mark the day before Lent begins by making pancakes on Pancake Tuesday. In Poland they traditionally have 'Fat Thursday' the final Thursday before Lent when they eat treats, especially donuts.
Zuzanna brought in some 'faworki' she made with her mother on Fat Thursday. Delicious!
