We are studying Birds & Flight as our WAU topic this term. We have been looking at our local wild birds and discussing the importance of feeding them over the winter, when birds find it difficult to find food. To help them, we made bird food using lard, cheese and birdseed to fill holders that we made from string and paper cups.
