To wrap up our Birds and Flight topic, P5 designed their very own airplanes! 🚀 Using what they had learned about aerodynamics, including lift, drag, thrust and weight, the children carefully built and refined their designs.
We then carried out a fair test to see which airplane could travel the furthest, making sure conditions were the same for everyone. The pupils showed fantastic teamwork and problem-solving skills.
