P4 learn to Speak out. Stay safe!
12th Nov 2020
Article 19: Children have the right to be protected from being hurt or badly treated.
Miss Fegan’s class were learning this week about the NSPCC programme about Speaking out and staying safe. They
participated in the Speak out. Stay safe assembly that was introduced by Ant and Dec.
They watched an online assembly and met Buddy. Buddy reminded the children that they should ‘Speak out’ if someone or something is making them unhappy or if they are worried about something. We had a class discussion and completed activities on who we could talk to in school and outside of school and that it should be someone they trusted.
