During Road Safety week Primary 3&4 put on their fluorescent jackets and went out for a walk. They were learning about road safety in class so they thought they would put their classroom learning into practise for real outside. They learned how to look carefully before crossing. They looked right, left and again whilst crossing. They quickly realised what a busy road our school is on and into the village. Stopping, looking and listening were important skills to use. Wearing bright clothes is always a good idea and especially when out walking at night. In P4 it's still best to only cross the road when an adult is with us.
