P3 Senses scavenger hunt in our mindful meadow!
Room 5 enjoyed a scavenger hunt in our mindful meadow during this beautiful weather! There was lots of shade so it was cool!
๐ Our sight challenge had us looking for different shades if geeen, something smaller than your finger nail, a shadow shape and something that reflected the light!
๐คFor touch we had to find something bumpy, something tickly, something cold and something spongy!
๐Hearing challenge involved us finding sounds ade by nature, people and a crunching sound.
๐๐
Smell and taste challenge was to find a plant that smells nice, smell dirt or soil and to find a plant or tree that grows food for animals or humans.
It was an easy challenge to complete with our lovely new garden. When we were sitting quietly we were surprised by visits from our birds and when we looked carefully we found lots of creepy crawlies outside too!
The birds have also made lots of nests around our school and we were surprised when a little wagtail chose to build her nest in one of our planters! From behind a window we have observed her lay her eggs, them hatching and her feeding from them. If you look really closely you might see them in our photos!
