Our Primary 2 class enjoyed a hand-on learning activity as we planted sunflower seeds. The children used soil, trowels, pots and water to carefully plant their own seeds. They followed instructions step by step, making sure everything was done in the correct order- filling the pot with soil, planting their own seeds, covering it gently and finally watering it. This activity helped the children to develop their listening skills, independence and understanding of how plants grow. We are looking forward to watching our sunflowers grow over the coming weeks!
