P1/2 topic of measure covered time and measuring length. P2 had been learning how to read and draw O'clock and half past on clock faces while P1 were eagerly watching and listening in - some were able to do the same work!! Linking with Measure Week while in PE we took the opportunity to use space and measure how many feet our partners were when lying down. Then the children became builders and measured how many feet it was to get half way across the hall. Measuring is very practical in Foundation Stage and everyone had fun.
