Our first school trip!

10th Jun 2019

Primary one had a fabulous day out at Streamvale Farm! It was a long bus ride and we were all delighted with our juice and biscuits when we arrived!

We saw lots of different animals- cows, sheep, donkeys, goats, lambs, pigs, puppies, alpacas, chickens, quail, turkey, deer, guinea pigs, rabbits and mice.

Everyone loved the goats jumping up on the fence! It made us all jump then laugh. Harry K told us all about milking sheds and Joshua told us about his uncles quails. Our guide taught us lots about the different animals.

After a lot of walking it was time for a well earned picnic. Next we got to play in different areas. It was great fun playing in the cannon room. We got to shoot balls onto targets which made animal noises when they were hit. The outdoor tractors were brilliant too!

Soon it was time to get on the bus and go home. Such an enjoyable day- lets hope all our trips are as good as this one!
