We had a wonderful ECO day in school on Tuesday, focusing on WASTE, with Noel Lyons from Arc 2. He visited all the primary 4 to 7 pupils and spoke to the children about waste.
Noel also did lots of different art activities using waste materials such as paper and cardboard boxes. Primary 5 designed bookmarks, our Eco team made pencil cases, Primary 6 designed some lovely badges with the recycling message “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.”
The lasting memory for a lot of our pupils seems to be the jars passed around that smelled of a rubbish dump!
