Well done to everyone who has been engaging in the Accelerated Reading Programme.
So far this year there have been a total of 2,413 quizzes passed from Primary 5 to Primary 7.
For the second time this year we congratulate Cormac Quinn and Charlie McShane in Primary 7 for becoming Millionaire Readers again. Cormac has read a staggering 2,014,290 words and Charlie has read an amazing 2,013,671 words.
Congratulations also to our first ever Millionaire Reader in Primary 5, Beibhinn McPolin. Beibhinn has read an amazing 1,026,200 words.
Our Millionaire Readers will be rewarded later in the school year.
Keep up the amazing reading happening in St Patrick's PS and remember reading is a skill for life!
It is also a means of relaxation and enjoyment when you are an adult!
