The children of primary 7 got to experience a wonderful trip to the Irish News HQ today as well as a tour of Q Radio . This was as a prize in winning the Irish News young News Reader competition in designing an advertisement to sell their school. They started of the morning with a tour of Q Radio and met all of the radio presenters along the way, now being able to put faces to the presenters who they listen to on a daily basis . They also received a tour of the Irish News news room and got an insight into the daily workings of a newspaper. They were treated to a beautiful lunch provided for them before setting of on the final part of their trip to the Award winning Interpress printing facility . A tour of the factory finished of with them getting a special souvenir copy of the paper with them all being the stars on the front cover of the paper . A day that will stay in their memories for many years to come.
