The community of St Patrick's are proud to be a Catholic school.
If the children were at school this month we would have a focus on May as the month in which we remember Mary, the mother of Jesus, who we also call 'Our Lady'. Most teachers continue the practice of having a May Altar in their classrooms. In May children take part in a May procession. Children are brought to the grotto beside the church and prayers are said. It is also a month in which we teach the children about the Rosary and pray the Rosary together.
While we are at home we can remember these traditions and continue to hand them on to the children.
