On Thursday the school entered 2 teams into the Newry football Blitz. Both teams played at least 5 games. The B team won 2 of those games. The A team won all their games to get them into the semi final where they beat St Dallan's Warrenpoint, to get into the Final. They played a strong Burren side in the final which they previously beat in their first game of the tournament. The final was a very exciting and nail biting close encounter game with the Burren team coming out as winners at the final whistle. Well done to all girls, Mrs Brannigan and I are very proud of your work rate, skill and behaviour.
