Farewell to Primary 3 & 4

26th Jun 2020

Boys and Girls,

You are now on your summer holidays! No more work on Seesaw for a while. You have worked very hard and I’m extremely proud of you. Thank you for sharing your memories with me. I have enjoyed being able to keep in touch with you all. Back in September 2019 when we came together as a class none of us ever expected a global pandemic to happen and school closures world wide. Well, it happened and thankfully we are all still here to tell the tale.  A big thank you to Mrs Hynes for all the help and hard work she did in our class. Another thank you to Miss Rooney who helped us each week. Thank you.

What a journey it has been! We continued our education and learning, teachers continued to send you work daily. The world stood still but your learning continued. We have memories that will now be written in history books. From worldwide lockdown, being home schooled, learning on Seesaw, going for walks, climbing mountains, making up games, playing in our gardens, practicing our ball and Gaelic skills, building dens, having lots of family time, clapping each Thursday for our NHS and key workers, farming, baking, cooking, cleaning, watching beautiful sunsets, lie ins, long sunny days and rainbows but most of all we can say that we stayed at home and  Saved lives.

We are ๐ŸŒˆ THE RAINBOW CLASS OF 2020 ๐ŸŒˆ

I don’t know about you but I’m ready for a break after that long list!

Have a Lovely summer everyone and good luck in P4 & P5.

Take care and I will see you again at the end of August.

Mrs O’Hare
