Capacity fun for Primary 4!

Primary 4 were doing capacity today and are learning about litres, half litres and millilitres. We now know that there are 1000 millilitres in a litre. We did some practical work outside in the shade of our trees. Estimating how many half litre bottles it would take to fill a litre bottle etc. We really enjoyed using the 200 and 300 millilitre bottles. 

After all that hard work, we used our water to give our flowers, vegetables and plants some much needed water! Our vegetables are starting to grow well too! The lettuce is very tasty too especially the green one!
