Primary 7 have been working on the topic of Bridges.
The children began by looking at plans and at what features the plans had. They looked at bridges from all around the world and famous engineers of bridges. The pupils had to research various types of bridges and decide on the type of bridge they were going to build.
Pupils then had to consider the materials they would use to make a bridge. They looked at the properties these materials have to make sure they could use them to build their bridge. Then came the tricky part - building the bridges! Every child produced a superb model bridge and presented to their peers how they designed and built their bridge! Excellent work children!
The pupils evaluated their bridges, then set them out in the Parochial Hall for the rest of the school to see their wonderful work! Everyone was so impressed with all the work P7 put into this topic!
