We were delighted to welcome children's author Regina E. McCarthy to our school for a special visit. Regina shared a wonderful reading session with the children, bringing her book Courageous Gilbert the Groundhog to life in an engaging and inspiring way.
The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to the story and responded with great enthusiasm throughout the session. Courageous Gilbert encouraged important discussions about bravery, resilience and believing in yourself, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
As a kind gesture, Regina also left a signed copy of her book for our school, which the children are excited to read and enjoy in the weeks ahead.
